Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane is the world's first and largest koala sanctuary, with over 130 koalas. Lone Pine is located in the Brisbane suburb of Fig Tree pocket, only 50 minutes by limousine from the Gold Coast. Opening hours are daily from 8:30am to 5:00pm except 1:30pm to 5:00pm Anzac Day, (April 25) and 8:30am to 4:00pm Christmas Day.
